The film „Selma” presents a moving picture of the struggle for equality.

Martin Luther King -

pastor, activist and leader of the civil rights movement. On his shoulders rested a huge
responsibility - many people placed their hopes in him.
The Bergson framework says that the source of ethics can come from two directions - social
pressure and mysticism/spirituality. We can spot both cases in M.L King’s ethics. He
knew that he was the face of a great movement. He believed in the dignity and truth of
equality. He wanted to liberate his people from clutches of injustice, lies and violence.
However, above all of that he believed and trusted God. M.L.King hoped that God would
show him the right path and help him achieve victory.
