Note: The username is 'ubuntu' and the password is 'flytbase'.
The various steps in setting up the hardware are listed below. A wiring diagram for the hardware
components is given below.
Autopilot Setup
● DJI Matrice 300 RTK

○ Verify autopilot is running the latest firmware. Check this link for the same.
○ Reboot the drone/autopilot.
○ Once rebooted, reconnect the drone/autopilot with the DJI Assistant. Make sure the
laptop running DJI assistant has an active internet connection.
○ Install the DJI Pilot app on an Android/iOS phone, and connect it to autopilot for the
drone's RC. Make sure the phone is connected to the internet.
○ Enable Multiple flight modes from DJI App.
Note: To allow FlytOS to take control of the drone from RC, switch to P-Mode.

4.2.2 Companion Computer Setup
● Connect the DJI OSDK Expansion Module to the DJI Matrice M300 OSK port.
● Connect Jetson Nano’s Power Output 24V (XT30) to OSDK DC Barrel jack for 5V power
input, with XL4015 5A voltage regulator module attached in between it.
● Connect the OSDK USB 2.0 Interface on the DJI Expansion module and Jetson Nano, using
the USB 2.0 cable. You may refer to the screenshot attached below.

● Connect one end of the UART cable to the USB Serial module. Once the USB TTL is setup,
connect the same to the Jetson nano’s USB port.
● Connect the other end of UART RX and TX pins of your USB serial module to the API port
Tx and Rx pins of your DJI M300 as shown below. Click here for more details.
● Connect Jetson Nano to the Monitor. Power Up the drone and Jetson Nano.

On successful communication between the Autopilot and the Jetson Nano, a “Connected”
tab with a green outline will be displayed near the top of the page. On unsuccessful
connection, a “Disconnected” tab with a red outline will be displayed at the same location.
