i celebrate…knowing and living the Faith-

sharing the joy of the Gospel…
Through the years SPUP
through the Christian
Formation Office has been
faithful to its Christian mandate
to “Go and make disciples of all
nations” [Mt. 28:19] and to
“Proclaim Jesus Christ as the
Good News to all”
[Paulinian Mission Song] by
engaging its faculty and
students in various apostolate
and spiritual activities in the
school and in the community.
It all starts in the classroom…

The SPC Christian Formation Vision-Mission

VISION
The Sisters of St. Paul of
Chartres, Philippine Province,
placed by God within the
Church envision:
• A community centered on
Christ and committed to His
mission;
• A community within the Church,
one with her in the task of
evangelization;
• A community one with our
people towards human dignity,
unity, peace, and justice and in
their efforts for the social and
moral reconstruction of the
Filipino nation.
MISSION
• To proclaim Jesus Christ as the
Good News to all and as the Lord of
all life and history,
• To work for the transformation
of persons and structures in line
with Gospel values,
• To build believing, worshipping,
and serving Catholic Christian
communities rooted in the word
of God and truly Filipino.
The Christian Formation
Program is so structured to ensure

Threefold mission = Three dimensions of
our Catholic faith:

• Doctrine - which is the knowledge

of the Word of God;
• Morals - the profession of Faith in
one’s daily life;
• Worship - the celebration of Faith in
the Sacraments and prayer.
The interplay of the three
dimensions makes our Catholic
Faith solid and whole.

The doctrinal truths supply the

basis for moral living and giving
meaning to and are celebrated in
the liturgy and Sacraments of
the Church.

All baptized share in the priestly dignity of

the celebration of the Eucharist. (LG 10)

DOCTRINE
This ministry lives on. We take pride in being
able to continue this mission, begun by four brave
SPC Sisters who heeded the Lord’s call to “go
forth”. In 1727, they volunteered to work among
the poor, the sick, and the exiled convicts in
Cayenne, in the French Guiana in South America.
We hope to keep their missionary passion and
zeal burning in our hearts.

‘For the love of Christ

impels us.’
