Mga Mapa at Direksyon:

Introduksyon sa basic na kaalaman sa pagbasa ng mapa, kabilang ang pagtukoy sa mga simbolo at

Maunawaan kung paano nakapag-ambag ang nakaraan sa kasalukuyang kalagayan ng komunidad.

Kultural na Pamanang:

Matuto tungkol sa mga kultural na tradisyon, kaugalian, at pagdiriwang sa lokal na pamayanan.

Pag-aralan ang iba't-ibang kultura sa Pilipinas.

Maunawaan ang kahalagahan ng pangangalaga sa kultura at pamanang kultural.

Ikatlong Markahan (Third Quarter):

Heograpiya ng Pilipinas:
Pag-aaral sa heograpiya ng Pilipinas, kabilang ang mga pangunahing isla, anyong tubig, at mga bundok.

Kaalaman tungkol sa klima at likas-yaman ng bansa.

Maunawaan ang kahalagahan ng pangangalaga sa kalikasan.

Gobyerno ng Pilipinas:

Pagsilip sa pangunahing istraktura ng gobyerno ng Pilipinas, kabilang ang mga papel ng Presidente,
Pangalawang Pangulo, at lokal na opisyal.

Pag-uusap tungkol sa kahalagahan ng pagsunod sa mga batas at regulasyon.

Maunawaan ang konsepto ng pagiging mamamayan at mga responsibilidad nito.

Ika-apat na Markahan (Fourth Quarter):

Ekonomiya at Komunidad:

Pag-aaral tungkol sa mga pangunahing konsepto sa ekonomiya tulad ng kalakal, serbisyo,

pangangailangan, at kagustuhan.

Maunawaan ang papel ng mga indibidwal at negosyo sa lokal na ekonomiya.

Pagsusuri kung paano nagtutulungan ang mga komunidad upang matugunan ang kanilang
pangangailangan sa ekonomiya.

Mga Pambansang Bayani at Pista Opisyal:

Pag-aaral sa mga buhay at kontribusyon ng mga pambansang bayani tulad ni Jose Rizal at Andres
Bonifacio.

Kaalaman sa mga pambansang pista at ang kahalagahan nito.

Pag-unawa sa kahalagahan ng pagmamahal sa bayan at pagiging makabayan.

Pagsusuri sa mga pagbabago ng mga tauhan sa kwento.

Pamamahayag ng Sariling Damdamin:

Pagtukoy sa mga pangunahing damdamin at emosyon.

Pagsulat ng Liham:

Pagtukoy sa mga bahagi ng liham (petsa, pangalan ng tatanggap, katawan ng liham, pangalan ng
nagpapadala).

Pagsusuri sa mga layunin ng pagsusulat ng liham (nagpapasalamat, nagtatanong, nagpapakilala).

Pagsasanay sa wastong pagkakasulat at pagkakaayos ng liham.

Pagbuo at Pag-awit ng Awit o Tula:

Pagbuo ng simpleng awit o tula tungkol sa mga karanasan, damdamin, o pangarap.

Pag-awit o pag-recite ng mga tula o awit na ipinagawa.

Pagpapakita ng pagkaunawa sa paggamit ng mga tayutay tulad ng tayutay ng pagwawangis at

pagtutulad.

Sa bawat quarter, mahalaga ang pag-unawa sa mga konsepto ng pagbasa, pagsulat, at komunikasyon sa
Filipino. Dapat magkaruon ng pagkakataon ang mga mag-aaral na maipakita ang kanilang kasanayan sa
pag-unawa at paggamit ng wika, pati na rin ang kanilang kakayahan sa pagsusuri at pagsusulat ng mga
tekstong may kaugnayan sa kanilang karanasan at buhay.
