Project Proposal for the Community Service Project.

Team: Sandamini Galhena, Methmini Galhena, Ranidi Senathilake, Sandali Alawattegama

Project Selection: We visited Mahamathya Vidyalaya, and we decided to choose the school to do the
community project because it met our requirements and because of the economic crisis it was the nearest
place for all of us.

Scope of the Project: The 4 guides who decided to join hands for the project visited the school and met the
Principal and the Teacher in-charge to discuss the areas where the school needs assistance from outside
volunteers. The below requirements were highlighted by the principal and teacher.

1. To clean the corner of the playground.

2. Make a plant nursery there and maintain it.

3. Refreshments for the students.

We have planned to sell crop utilize those funds for further maintain our plant nursery. Any except fund
could be donated to the school.

Mahamathya Vidyalaya consist of poor children who’s some parents do not even have a monthly salary.
Because of this they do not have enough money to make their school beautiful. So, we decided to lend
them a hand.

Project Duration: from 3rd of March to 25th of August 2023 (6 months)

Project Budget: Rs. 11,000 with breakdown as below
