JOB DESCRIPTION

Data Assistant
Background
AIDS Healthcare Foundation is a global health foundation providing HIV/AIDS prevention, care
and services in 45 countries in the US, Europe, Africa, Latin America/Caribbean and Asia. AHF
Myanmar is collaborating with Ministry of Health and providing HIV/ care and supports services in
Yangon, Bago and Kayin State.

Summary:

Data Assistant will collect, summarize and enter weekly, monthly, quarterly data online and assist to
Operations Manager ensuring quality Improvement of care, supports, prevention and testing services
from all partner sites.

Essential Duties & Responsibilities:

 Collect, combine and summarize data from all partner sites.


 Enter weekly PPR, monthly testing and linkage data into online database, Track positives data
online and submit online.
 Assist OM to submit quarterly PPR, quarterly benchmarks timely
 Support in data collection for Health Facility Assessment, Client Satisfaction Survey and
Annual Chart Audit, and online data submission.
 Works with Physicians and staff from partner sites to operationalize the data collection, entry
and validity of data.
 Support in Optimum Retention Initiative (ORI) pilot projects and work closely with staff of
partner sites for data collection and entry.
 Backs up all information on a daily basis to ensure safety of data
 Monitors and maintains privacy of all data collected and enters into the computer
 Develop and submits regular data reports to CPD
 Participates in regular meetings with countries staff, Asia Bureau, Global and Headquarters
staff.
 Undertake other duties as required.

Supervisory Responsibilities:

 Operation Manager

Education and/or Experience:

• Holds Bachelor Degree from any recognized University.


• With 2 years experience in data collection and data entry using excel or other statistical
software.
• Experience in use of Microsoft office and other desktop publishing functions.
• Credit will be given to those who have experience at working in health care services and
hospital environment
• Fluent in English language speaking and writing to communicate with Bureau and HQ by email
and online meeting platforms.
• Able to meet and communicate effectively with staff from government department and other
organizations.
• Flexible, proactive and able to organize work independently as well as work in a team
Contract term and payment

 3 months probation period and appointed as a permanent staff


 Payment – Negotiable (depending on education and work experience)
