“A RESOLUTION IMPLEMENTING & INTENSIFYING THE RULES AND


REGULATIONS OF SCHOOL OF ST. JOSEPH THE WORKER, Inc FOR THE
SCHOOL YEAR 2023-2024’’
WHEREAS, The Supreme Student Council (SSC) of School of St. Joseph the Worker shall
promote mutual understanding thru social, civic, intellectual, recreational and scientific
programs and activities.
WHEREAS, Section 1 of Article 7 states that the Supreme Student Council will be the
highest governing organization of the entire Junior and Senior High School studentry.
WHEREAS, Section 2a of Article 7 states that formulate and recommend programs that will
address relevant issues/ concerns of the studentry. Section 2b of Article 7 states that plan and
implement policies and programs designed to protect and to promote students right and
welfare.
WHEREAS, the SSC is implementing and intensifying the rules and regulations of the
school of the school year 2023-2024.
WHEREAS, the following are the rules and regulations taken from the revised student
handbook.
i. PRESCRIBED SCHOOL UNIFORM:
MALE:
Plain white Polo shirts with logo and white tacked-in sando inside.
White socks and black shoes
Black pants except maong
School ID
(to be worn every day except Wednesday)

PE Uniform (to be worn every Wednesday)


FEMALE
White blouse
Round pleats forest green skirts
Forest green tie with school logo
School ID
(to be worn every day except Wednesday)
PE Uniform (to be worn every Wednesday)
HAIRSTYLE
Male: Neat haircut. Hair should not touch the collar of the uniform
Ear must be clearly seen whether from top, front, and side of the head.
Hair dye or hair color and fancy hair cut is also prohibited.
Female: Hair should be neat and well-kept at all times.
Hair dye or hair color and fancy hair cut is also prohibited.

ii. ATTENDANCE, ABSENCES, TARDINESS, AND CUTTING CLASSES

General assembly is held every day at exactly 7:15am as prescribed by the


principal. Students must be inside the school premises not later than 7:15am. All
students are required to attend said assembly.

iii. MAKE-UP
Restriction on wearing makeup for students can be influenced by a variety of
factors, including school policies, cultural norms, and age-appropriate
considerations. The school discourages or prohibits makeup for every Junior High
School students to promote a more natural and focused learning environment,
prevent distraction, and avoid potential peer pressure or unhealthy beauty
standards. Senior High School students may wear makeup as long as it is light.

iv. VAPE
School aim to promote a healthy and focused educational atmosphere. Vape is
prohibited in school to prevent health risk. Vaping products contain nicotine and
other potentially harmful substances that can be addictive and have a negative
effects on brain. Additionally, vaping can create a distraction in the learning
environment and may lead to a violation of school policies.

v. PEIRCINGS
For male students, wearing of earrings is strictly prohibited.
For female students, more than two earrings is strictly prohibited.

vi. LITTERING
The school is promoting environmental cleanliness and protect public spaces. The
goal is to encourage responsible behavior and maintain a clean and sustainable
development for everyone.

WHEREAS, the violations of the rules and regulations mentioned above will be penalized
with the following:
i. UNIFORM
 Students with incomplete uniform will be fined Php5.00.
 Php10.00 will be collected to students for not wearing uniform at all.
 Cross dressing is prohibited, the same with female students who wears
inappropriate clothes specifically shorts and dresses that are above the
knee.
 Students who violate the rule will be warned for first offense.
 For second offense, students will be referred at the principal’s office.

ii. ATTENDANCE, TARDINESS, AND CUTTING CLASSES


 For first offense, latecomers will be warned.
 For second offense, students will be fined 5 pesos and they will render one
hour community service after their class.
 Students who cut their classes will be referred to the POD and render one
hour community service after their class.

iii. MAKE-UP
 For first offense, JHS students who are wearing make-up will be warned
and fined 10 pesos.
 For the second offense, students will be fined and one hour community
service will be given.
 Makeups will be collected.

iv. VAPE
 Vapes will be collected
 One hour community service will be given to students who violated this
rule.

v. PIERCING
 Worn earrings will be collected from male students.
 More than two worn earrings will be collected to female students.

vi. LITTERING
 One hour community service will be given to students who violated this
rule.
WHEREFORE, upon unanimously accord of all members present, it was –
RESOLVED, as it hereby resolved the implementing & intensifying the rules and
regulations of school of St. Joseph the Worker, Inc for the school year 2023-2024.
RESOLVED FINALLY, to forward a copy of this resolution to all concerned officials for
their information and favorable consideration.
