    NOTIFICATIONS BY GOVERNMENT

    HIGHWAYS AND MINOR PORTS DEPARTMENT

    AMENDMENT TO THE TAMIL NADU HIGHWAYS RULES, 2003.

    [G.O. Ms. No. 100, Highways and Minor Ports (HF1), 1st September 2014.]

    No. SRO A-16(b)/2014.

    In exercise of powers conferred by sub-section (1) of Section 66 of the Tamil Nadu Highways Act, 2001
    (Tamil Nadu Act 34 of 2002), the Governor of Tamil Nadu hereby makes the following amendment to the
    Tamil Nadu Highways Rules, 2003.

    AMENDMENT

    In the said Rules, in rule 5, wherever the expression “the Government, or the Collector, or the Special
    District Collector (Land Acquisition), Tamil Nadu Urban Development Project-III” occurs the expression “the
    Government or the Collector or the Special District Collector (Land Acquisition), Tamil Nadu Urban Development
    Project-III or the Special District Revenue Officer (Land Acquisition) shall be substituted.
