BACKGROUND/PROBLEMS

The supply chain team's lack of drive to deliver goods to customers more quickly is one of the
problems the company is facing: delayed or prolonged delivery times. This has continued because
department leaders, burdened with an overwhelming workload and other work-related tasks,
respond slowly to complaints. Another problem is that, as a result of a shortage of skilled and
specialized personnel, the organization's delivery of commodities to clients is executed in an
unprofessional manner. Staff that is knowledgeable and experienced is crucial to the company's
ability to implement supply chain management and logistics. Partial or mixed-up orders are another
commonly brought up concern, as the human exchange of knowledge across various divisions is
the single most significant variable in guaranteeing a satisfactory delivery.
An incomplete or inaccurate order could arise from any department sending out inaccurate
information.
Client dissatisfaction and decreased business are the outcomes of all these challenges.

PURPOSE AND RECOMMENDED ACTION

The idea we have is to install a tracking device with GPS on all of our goods and shipping vehicles,
that would track package movements and employee actions while managing the product, as well as
automobile route and consumption of fuel, and electronically transmit the recorded logs to the
system via software. This would help with the tracking of delivery trucks, which would eventually
aid in regulating delivery staff conduct and ensure supply chain team compliance.
The usefulness of these GPS technologies would support notice delivery, corporate vehicle
tracking, and the prevention of improper and illegal use.

alerts sent to management by the program about irregularities in the way the vehicle operates.
Every car's price and fuel consumption are determined by factors like its route, features, speed, and
riding style. It logs fuel consumption data to help identify any inappropriate behavior related to
fuel theft, and in the event that a car is taken, it notifies the company's security staff.
Thanks to package and vehicle tracking, this solution would also result in faster cargo delivery,
which would boost customer satisfaction. Additionally, it would aid in removing packaging
inconsistencies, improving vehicle and Our technology solution would bring to the company, an
increased positive public review and approval, improved operational performance, an increase in investors,
and a higher rate of return on capital. Furthermore, an ethical code of conduct should be developed by
management. This code of ethics has to be revised frequently to reflect the most recent standards and
practices. The management should also make sure that staff members always adhere to the company's code
of ethics. (Texas A&MUniversity-Corpus Christi, 2017)

FOLLOW UP/ RESULT

Following that, the compliance staff would keep a close eye on growth because unchecked and
uncontrolled expansion could lead to commercial issues. Growth entails obtaining personal
achievement, hiring more people, increasing resources, and expanding opportunities (Thunstrom,
2021). After every delivery, the compliance team would routinely get electronic input from clients
to ascertain whether the new system is operating according to plan. Additional follow-up measures
would be doing monthly technical and mechanical inspections on all cars and motorcycles, offering
a customer support telephone number, a website, and dropbox where clients can report dishonest
behavior in confidence, and offering an ethics mail address where staff members can report
dishonest behavior.

As a result, following the setup of tracking devices with GPS for 60 days, feedback from customers
have significantly dropped. The tracking technology is helping people work harder and behave
better at work, as well as improving the handling of business cars.
