I. Objective
To identify and evaluate different problem-solving strategies involving oneself and
others.
To develop empathy and understanding towards others' perspectives in problem-solving
situations.
To practice effective communication and collaboration skills in resolving problems with
others.
III. Procedure
A. Introduction
1. Preliminary activities
a. Prayer: Begin with a prayer for guidance and understanding.
b. Greetings: Greet the students and create a welcoming atmosphere.
c. Setting of Standard: Discuss the importance of respectful participation and active
engagement in the lesson.
B. Modeling
Present a scenario where a problem arises involving oneself and others.
Model different problem-solving strategies, emphasizing the importance of
communication, cooperation, and empathy.
Generalization
Facilitate a discussion to generalize the different problem-solving strategies observed in
the modeling.
Encourage students to share their insights and reflections on the importance of
considering others in problem-solving.
C. Guided Practice
Divide the class into groups:
Group 1: Role-play a problem-solving scenario using a collaborative approach.
Group 2: Brainstorm and list down various problem-solving strategies involving
oneself and others.
Group 3: Analyze a case scenario and propose possible solutions considering the
perspectives of all involved parties.
D. Independent Practice
Assign individual tasks:
Write a reflection journal entry on a personal experience where problem-solving
involved oneself and others.
Create a poster or infographic highlighting effective problem-solving strategies in
collaborative situations.
