There are many reasons which make this trend happen, first of which is
employment opportunities. Since the demands for daily basis have rose
significantly in the past few year, it’s no doubt that people have to find
jobs to secure their daily life. By transferring to another places, people
have better chance at being employed especially in big cities. The
second factor of this trend is the rapid growth of transportation. In the
past, it’s took hours or even days for people to transfer somewhere
else. For example, if people wanted to travel to another countries, they
had to take a train or board a ship, which took to much time. But with
the invention of planes, and the improvement on other transportation,
it is easier to settle in others places.
In my opinion, this development brings up certain benefits. Firstly,
moving to various locations help broaden one’s horizon. Living at
different places force people to learn about that place’s cultural, food,
traditional so that they can adapt to it. Secondly, getting out of one’s
comfort zone, make them more independence, mature, confident. For
example, students who attend university far from home, tend to live
away from their parents. By single handedly taking care of chores and
financial independent help them develop people’s skills.
