Is ageing a bad thing?

In today’s day and age, many people dislike the notion of ageing. Some people want to
remain young, or middle-aged forever whilst others enjoy having a lot of freedom and
being old, having learned from their past selves and moving on from bad experiences.
With the help of science, many “elixirs of youth” have been created. even though they
never truly stop ageing. However, despite having the opportunity, some people refuse to
take these. Why is that? A concluding answer would be that happiness comes from
stillness, as a great writer once said. It is having everything in the world that makes us
happy, but not missing something. Some people fear ageing because they think that
would make them incapable of doing things they have been doing the rest of their lives,
but that isn’t true. Being a bit older won’t stop you from doing anything, but if you have a
toxic lifestyle you will have to bear the consequences and face the truth. Genetics play a
significant role, but a healthy lifestyle guarantees a fulfilling life. If you take care of
yourself and stay out of trouble people won’t have to worry about you more than they do
now, and you can have all the freedom you want. You can travel the country as you like,
or even start teaching people about your life, so they can avoid making the same mistakes
as you.
To wrap things up, ageing is a normal and healthy phenomenon that takes us from one
stage of our lives to another, without it we wouldn’t be ourselves anymore.
