The diagram illustrates the process of how olive oil is produced.

Overall, this is a step-by-step process that is comprised of seven stages,


from harvesting the fruit from olive trees, to packaging and selling the
finished product.
Firstly, farmers harvest olive from trees and put them in the rinsing
machine in which they are cleaned with cold water. After being rinsed,
the olives are then transferred to a belt, which later lead them to a
smashing machine. At the end of this process, the olives are separated
into olive paste and olive stones.
The process continue with the olive paste being placed in bag with
holes before being put through a pressing machine. The pressed olive
are then put in separating machine which any excess water is separated
from the oil. And finally, the olive oil is packaged and delivered to
storage where it can be sold.
