ELIGIBILITY
All rated and unrated players are eligible to participate. No age

limit. One player will be given one higher value prize only.

IMPORTANT NOTE

FIDE is planning to have the least rating of 1400 . If it is applicable

then below 1150 will be change to 1500 , below 1300 become 1650 ,

below 1450 becomes 1800 and below 1600 becomes below 1950 for

rating category prizes.

AICF REGISTRATION
All Indian players must be registered with AICF for the year 2023-24 before the
registration deadline to participate in the tournament. All players are to forward
FIDEID and AICF registration ID along with entry. Those who not registered with
AICF, required to do AICF registration online at https://prs.aicf.in/players before
sending their entry registration

TOURNAMENT REGISTRATION
Normal Entry fee : ₹ 4000/- ( Four thousand only ). Please note normal entry fee is valid till

25th DECEMBER 2023 . Thereafter late fee of ₹ 500 ( Five hundred only ) along with
entry fee will…be entertained after 25th December 2023. LAST DATE OF REGISTRATION
1st JANUARY 2024. ENTRY FEE IS NON REFUNDABLE. 50% Discount for special able
players.

ELECTRONIC DEVICES
All electronic items including all type of wrist watches are not allowed in the
tournament hall.

SYSTEM OF PLAY
The tournament will be conducted as per FIDE Laws of Chess and FIDE Swiss
System with 09 rounds

TIME CONTROL
90 Minutes plus 30 second increment from move 1.

DEFAULT TIME ( WALKOVER TIME )

The default time will be 15 minutes
 TIE BREAK
Tie Break according to latest AICF guideline.

In case of a tie, the latest FIDE Rules shall come in to effect. The Cash prizes
however will not be shared.

PROTEST
Protests, if any against the decision of the Chief Arbiter shall be
made in writing with a protest fee Rs. 2000 (Two Thousand Only )
within 30 minutes of the occurrence of the incident to the appeals
committee. The protest fee will be refunded if the appeal is upheld.

APPEALS COMMITTEE
Five members appeals committee shall be formed. No member of the
committee can vote on dispute in which a player from himself is involved
and in such cases, the reserve can take his place in the committee.

WITHDRAWAL
A player can withdraw at any stage of the event after informing Chief
arbiter in writing.
