    The Children (Amendment) Act, 2016 (Commencement)


    Instrument, 2016.
    (Under section 1 of the Children (Amendment) Act, 2016, Act No. 9 of 2016).

    IN EXERCISE of the powers conferred upon the Minister responsible for


    children’s welfare by section 1 of the Children (Amendment) Act, 2016,
    this Instrument is made this 1st day of June, 2016.

    1. Title.
    This Instrument may be cited as the Children (Amendment) Act, 2016
    (Commencement) Instrument, 2016.

    2. Appointment of commencement date for the Children


    (Amendment) Act, 2016.
    The 2nd day of June, 2016 is appointed as the date on which the
    provisions of the Children (Amendment) Act, 2016 shall come into
    force.
