among them. Recent survey
conducted by BBC says that

We always talk about creating

which will not only increase the
number of self employments,
but also the number of employ-
ments in the country. This is also
a major policy to enhance our
economy as a whole.
But India is still lagging behind in
terms of leadership skills in influ-
ence of not only entrepreneur-
ship, but also otherwise. There is

AIESEC’s Role: We at AIE-
SEC, realized our potential to
improve the world economy
by many ways by doing ex-
changes through PBOXes.
But there was no PBOX
which is designed to deal with
world economy while affect-
ing people’s personal lives,
education, corporate and de-
velopment sector equally at
the same time. Besides this it
also has to fit all the norms of
a PBOX, e.g. Learning activi-
ties, @XP Implementation.
a greater need of developing
leadership skills in youth to en-
courage them to become entre-
preneurs.
With the growing international
market in India, there is a
greater need of Indian Entrepre-
neurs to go global while doing
business in India. Changing
mindsets at later stages of life is
more often taken as disguise.

T HE P ROJECT S YNERGY : A N I NTRODUCTION
AIESEC Jaipur has come up
with a project to overcome
such problems, which are not
dealt by any other LCs in
Asia. We, at AIESEC Jaipur,
with an experience of past 10
years, do believe that there is
a great need of an initiative to
be taken in the field of entre-
preneurship building in
youth.
Conducting Entrepreneurship
related activities by various
organizations is not enough
for the students of Jaipur, So
T HE P ROJECT F LOW
The SNs will arrive here in first
week of July. The first week would
be an induction conference , includ-
ing learning activities and @ XP
implementation with structured
learning process. Then they will be
divided in groups of 6 SNs each as a
team whose job will be to stay in our
partnered schools and universities
for the period of 6-7 days. These
people will be taking pre designed
sessions, workshops (and simulation
games) and seminars among the
students of these schools and univer-
sities. The topics will be Entrepre-
neurship, Cultural Sensitivity and
T HE EVENTS AND ACTIVITIES
Global Village:
Global Village will be organized by
these SNs as a public event where the
students from partnered institutions
will be invited along with our other
partners and other stakeholders. The
interns will be representing their
country stalls along with other interns
from India. They will represent their
traditional clothes and food. The
intern has to be well prepared with
their LC and country presentations
and should bring Music (MP3 and
audio) CDs containing their country
we came up with a unique
concept of providing interna-
tional education to selected
schools and colleges in the
city itself.
Here, more than 30 individ-
ual SNs from different parts
of the world will come to
Jaipur and involve themselves
in various activities, work-
shops and seminars among
youth of Jaipur in their
schools and universities. They
will be trained to deal with
Indian students’ mindset and
Leadership. Each team may have to
stay with hostel students of the
school/univ to gain and spread cul-
tural sensitivity. The activities with
schools and colleges would take
place for 4 weeks .Besides the stu-
dents’ mentoring, they will also be
conducting various events . These
events will focus the cultural un-
derstanding and international-
ism for the students of Jaipur.
In between the work at Institutions,
there would be a one-week trip
around Rajasthan and also a 2-day
Reception Weekend with other
music in instrumental and non instru-
mental. The main aim of this event is
to promote cultural sensitivity and to
break public’s mindsets about interna-
tionalism and to discourage Brain
Drain.
Career Days:
This event will be held to bring
schools, colleges, students and corpo-
rate together on a common platform.
Here students will be given unlimited
national and international opportuni-
ties Besides that, people will take
advantage of international exchange

grow big. Their main aim is
to encourage Entrepreneur-
ship while developing leader-
ship skills in these students.
Cultural sensitivity is the big-
gest aspect of their coming to
India as India is a culturally

In this part are mentioned the
requisites of the interns, i.e.,
what we expect our interns to
know and prepare, before and
after coming over to Jaipur :
• First of all, the interns
should be adjusting and
willing to work in differ-
ent atmospheres every
week .
• Interns should be willing
to travel .
• Interns should have gone
through common induc-
tion and gain knowledge of
Entrepreneurship, Leader-
ship and Cultural Sensitiv-
ity before coming here.
This knowledge would be
strengthened in the induc-
tion conference , to be
held in the first week.
• Interns should be comfort-
able in working with peo-
ple from different walks of
life .
• Interns should carry their
country presentations plus
articles along with them
for Global Village .
• Interns should be willing
to share rooms with peo-
ple of same sex ( in
schools , colleges etc )
• Interns should be medi-
cally fit , and should have
all their vaccinations in
place before coming to
Jaipur .
• In the end, interns should
be willing to work like
animals and party like
beasts .

IN A N UTSHELL ...
1. Synergy is a Development Traineeship (Cultural Sensitivity) PBOX, where the trainees will work
mostly in Education field. They will also get chances to touch Corporate and Development sector.
2. The intern needs to be inducted to AIESEC (common induction) before he/she comes here. If possi-
ble, they should be made to pass AIESEC XP test.

7. India is full of cultural shocks even for Indians. So be ready to enjoy Indian cultural shocks.
8. Be prepared for good amount of management work too. There will be learning activities like group
discussions, etc. would be taking place everyday in the evening time. The topics will have relevance
in real world.
9. All the interns will be living as a virtual LC. So there is a great chances of development of leadership
among them. Of course they will be more culturally sensitive.
10. The intern will be involved in lots of ER work where they will be raising for improving their stay in
Jaipur and little fundraising for PBOX Synergy and Jaipur LC.
11. There are great chances to organize big professional International conferences and exhibitions target-
ing development and corporate sectors or the public awareness campaign. This highly depends on the
decision made by the interns. In this case, the intern should be ready to spend 3-4 months in total in
India. (Recommended).
12. Our main motive is not to generate money but to create maximum impact to the world through this
PBOX. Each and every intern will be equally responsible for this impact.
