Dear Professors,

In view of AU modifications in the assessment process, the following changes are made in our
autonomous system also(from II semester UG and PG onwards)

Theory courses: Int:40%; Ext 60%

No of CATs:Two; No of Assignments/case study/seminar:Two;(SAT will be conducted separately)
End Semester Examinations: Theory for 3 hours

Lab courses: Int:60% ;Ext (40%)

Int: Evaluation of Lab observations and record:45 marks; Model lab:15 marks
Ext: End semester Lab examinations will be held as usual.

Theory courses with lab component: Int:50%;Ext:50%

No of CATs: one; The second CAT will be considered as compensatory;
No of Assignments/case study/seminar:one
Assessment for Lab component will be done along with the model lab.
End Semester Examinations: Theory for 3 hours

I request the HoDs share the above information with the faculty handling II semester UG/PG courses
and also to your department students
