My Existence
I am from the land of Filipino hospitality and generosity, raised in the beautiful country
with a rich culture, a fascinating history, and industrious and resourceful people. As someone
who was born there, you carry a piece of that beauty and warmth with you wherever you go. It’s
such an honor being born in the Philippines because it shapes your perspective in life and your
values in many ways. The Philippines is a country with a rich and diverse culture, a beautiful
landscape, and some of the warmest and most welcoming people in the world. From the stunning
beaches and scenic mountains to the bustling cities and charming rural towns, there is so much

Translated text: I'm Ma. Shania Lorraine Damian Ojastro, the only daughter of Lorenzo
Fiesta and Merlita Morosi. I was born in 2008 and on January 22. Born in the city of
Dagupan, raised in the care of Steve Sotelo and Mary Sotelo, nurtured by Evelyn Soriano,
guided by Joel Morosi. I was raised safe and God-fearing, showing respect and love for others is
an important quality. By showing respect and love to others, we can show the goodness of our
hearts and be an example to others. Although I was not with my parents, my loved ones,
especially my family, Isagani Ojastro, did not abandon my uncle and aunt Luisa Ojastro.

I’m just an ordinary girl with ambition. In a world that can often be loud, flashy and
overwhelming, my groundedness and unassuming spirit are a breath of fresh air. It takes great
strength and courage to embrace simplicity, to find joy in the small things, and to live a life that
is true to myself. Simplicity is a reflection of authenticity, honesty, and my inner peace and it's a
quality that I deeply admire in my family. I have a clear vision of what I want to achieve in life
and I work hard everyday to make that vision reality. My ambition is my testament yo my
courage, my dedication and my resilience. It’s not always easy to pursue your dreams, especially
when they may seem far-fetched or out of reach. But my ambition is my determination to prove

in a bad mood at first but I was able to get my dreams fulfilled. I am so grateful to my uncles
and aunts from the Philippines as well as cousins and relatives, because of them I have
been able to stand up to face life's challenges. My late grandmother, Lolita Ojastro, became
one of the instruments for me to move on with my life and to graduate in the medical field, I
wanted to treat others even if I did not do it with her, my loved one stood as my inspiration for
me to move on.

I’m so grateful that I’m here in the USA, and forever thankful for what God gave me, for
giving me and my mom Uncle Steve Montoya, he is always there to help us and even though
we’re not related he’s always there to guide me. I am a living proof of the power of kindness,
especially towards those who are not related by blood. Our world is full of diverse individuals
who may come from different backgrounds, cultures, and experiences. Even a small act of
kindness can make a big difference in someone’s life. In a world that can sometimes feel
disconnected and isolating, extending kindness to others can create connections and build
relationships. Love is not determined by blood or family ties. Love is a universal emotion that
can be shared and expressed towards anyone, regardless of their blood relation to us.
