Explain the tort of assault, battery, and false imprisonment by citing relevant case law. (25 marks) b) As a supervisor at a construction warehouse, Udeen always reminds the workers to adhere the rules and safety regulations at work. Pak Samad who works in the warehouse storage facilities is responsible for packaging, loading, and unloading material including drums, IBCs and ISO tanks. Due to slippery floor in the warehouse, Pak Samad fell and fractured his leg. He was also hit by sharp objects which fell from the shelves and the cupboards nearby. The warehouse did not provide adequate and proper storing cabinets to keep sharp objects safely. This was Not the first time a worker was injured in the warehouse. By applying the relevant law and cases, advise on the liability of Udeen and the company for negligence.
