1. Project Title
Quiz Management System Using JAVA.

2. Project Overview
Quiz Management System project could be an application which is developed or implemented in java
domain or platform. This project will help students to get practiced to basics of a course by taking mock
tests from this application. Quiz Management System application will be implemented in 2 modules
Admin module and Student module. Admin module will add multiple courses under different branches
so students can easily know about test details and take part in quizzes. Student module will introduce
students to different set of questions under different courses.

3. Project Objective

➢ Quiz Management System can reduce the hectic job of assessing the answers given by candidates
manually.
➢ Responses or the answers by the candidates can be checked automatically and instantly.
➢ Admin/Teacher can evaluate all the student’s performance at a glance.
➢ Students get to test their basic knowledge about a course.

4. Project Modules

I. Administration Module:

➢ Authenticated login
➢ Adding new courses
➢ Adding students
➢ Adding questions and their solutions
➢ Listing examination details
➢ Listing questions and timer setting, updating if necessary
➢ Exam Summary at a glance

II. Student Module:

➢ Can see course and test details


➢ Take part in a quiz
➢ See result in real time

5. Project Approach
This project will use JAVA as core language, JavaFX for graphical user interface, CSS for styling GUI and
MySQL as database storage.

6. Conclusion
As far as design is concerned no design is complete ever and there are chances of improvement each
moment. However, implementing necessary functionalities will take priority at our end despite the time
constraints and resource limitations.
