Greetings - Greet students and introduce him/herself. whole class

Warm up - Sing “Head, shoulders, knees and toes”.
5 mins
- From the song we lead the students into the context of today's lesson. whole class

- Say, “We already know that eyes, ears, nose and mouth are external parts. Today we will
learn about the internal parts of our human body.”
- Ask a student to stand against the board. Trace his body on the board with some chalk.
- Then use flashcards to introduce new words brain, heart, lung, stomach, intestines.
- Do some Repetition and Substitution drills.
Introduction
8 mins - Ask students to open their books page 5. Look at Exercise 1.
- Play the recording. Ask student to listen, point and repeat.
- Ask students to look at Exercise 2 page 5.
- Use a pencil to trace the first word with students. individuals
- Have students do the rest by themselves.
- Go around and help students when it’s necessary.
Practice Dice Game:
7 mins
- Stick word cards on each face of a dice. groups
- Work in groups of 6. Give each group a dice.
- Tell students the rules of the game.
- One of students rolls the dice to say the word.

- Continue the game with the next rounds.

Practice Musical Chairs

- Play the music and have the players walk around the perimeter of the chair circle. whole class
- When the music stops, everyone must immediately sit in a chair.
- The one person left standing it out. Ask him to read a flashcard.
- If he can give the right answer, he can go back to the game.

- If he can’t say the right word, remove another chair and continue until only one person is
left.

- Divide the students into two teams. whole class
- A student from one team comes to the front of the class and is given a flashcard (playing
soccer, swimming, doing puzzles, jogging).
- The student asks the class 'What am I doing?' and mimes the activity on the card.
- When a member on either team thinks they know, they give their answer.
- If the team member is correct, they score a point for their team.
- If not, the student continues with the mime.
- When an activity has been correctly guessed, a student comes up from the other team and

- The first team to ten points wins the game.

- Play the video and pause to ask about the human body organs. whole class
- Have students repeat several times (chorally and individually).
Make A Muscle
- Have students work in groups of six.
- Give each group some cardboard tubes from rolls of wrapping paper and cut out pieces
the length of the bones.
- Have students straightened out a paper clip and punched it through the ends of pieces of
bones to connect them, just like a joint would do.
- Have students attached the bones together with a rubber band in place of a wrist.
- To make the muscles for this model, use two long red balloons – the skinny ones you use
to make balloon animals.
- Have students blow them up just slightly and pressed the air to the center of the balloon,

leaving lots of unused balloon on either end.
- Next, have students tie each of the ends of the balloons to the bones to form the muscles.
- When students finish their work, ask each group to come to the front and present their
work.
