CURRENT ENGAGEMENT

1. Presently working with J K Cement Limited (Grey Cement Division) as


State Head – Customer Technical Services since April 2016, looking
after Chandigarh and Punjab State, leading a team of 33 technical and co-
ordinating with 15 marketing executives for business development, by
promoting and extending technical services to the different category of
influencers and engaging them in different schemes. Involved actively in
conceptualizing new projects with BCG since 2019. Actively involved in
digitalization of loyalty schemes and IHB services.

Responsibilities
Promotions/ Product Launches

 Involved in successfully improving the brand perception & made every effort for
its acceptance among all influencers in the market.
 Implementing pre-post marketing activities like meets exhibitions and conferences
with builders, architects, engineers, retailers, stockiest and contractors for
successful launching of new products & escalating sales.
 Formulating promotional schemes & organizing promotional activities as a part of
brand building & market development.
 Handling all types of technical feedback from customers & converting them into
company’s favour.

Key Account Management

 Executing market segmentation & penetration strategies to achieve targets.


 Interfacing with builders, architects and engineers for suggesting the most viable
product range & cultivating relations with them for securing repeat business.

Dealer / Market Development

 Development of market by Networking with reliable distributors, resulting in


deeper market penetration and wider market reach.

Service Support/ CRM

 Synchronize service operations for rendering and achieving quality services.


 Monitor the post service activities like follow up with the customers for feedback
on quality, technical flaws and address all issues for ensuring quality deliverables.
PAST EXPERIENCE

2. From 11th June 2007 to 31st March 2016

Worked with UltraTech Cement Limited – a flagship company of Aditya Birla


Group in Technical Services as Assistant Manager looking after Chandigarh,
Panchkula district, four districts of Punjab and lower belts of Himachal Pradesh
nearby Chandigarh. I worked seamlessly cross functions, leading a team of 8
executives under my direct supervision, which resulted in successful brand
perception improvement among the end user, leading to improvement in sales and
turnover. Our efforts improved our branch sales from mere 11000 MT to 23000 MT
per month resulting our counting among the top branches Pan India. We were
handling top 13 dealers of Punjab and Chandigarh, winning their loyalty for our
company.

2. From 26th Dec’06 to 8th June’07

Worked with Bangur Cements (Technical Services) - Unit of Shree Cements


Ltd. posted at Chandigarh looking after Punjab, Haryana and Uttranchal.

Responsibility
• Involved in successful launching and technical promotion of our brand ‘Bangur
Cement’ and made every effort for its acceptance among all influencers in the
market.

3. From 23rd March’00 to 23rd Dec’06

Worked with M/s Gujarat Ambuja Cements Ltd. at Jalandhar and Chandigarh.

Responsibility
• Served our dealer and retailer network in the Nawanshahar, Kapurthala and
Jalandhar districts at Jalandhar from March’00 to Aug’04.
• Served our dealer and retailer network in Chandigarh and Panchkula, Mohali and
Ropar districts at Chandigarh Regional Sales Office from Aug’04 to Dec’06.
• Maintained relations with the architects, contractors, masons and IHB’s.
• Promoted our sales through the technical services.
• Attended quality complaints by providing solutions to the clients.
• Organized and conducted mason meets and contractor meets.

4. From 1st July’99 to 28th Feb’00

Worked as Site Engineer in M/s Prithipal Singh Construction Co. Pvt. Ltd.,
Mohali (Pb.). For the Construction of Ash Pond Dykes at Guru Gobind Singh Super
Thermal Plant, Ropar. Total cost of the project was 6 crore.

Responsibility
• Layout of drawings in the field.
• Supervision of the field work.
• Estimation of the work done.
• Bill preparation.
• Testing and passing from the department.

Educational Qualification

Post Graduation Diploma in Retail Management from SYMBIOSIS, Pune with


63% marks through correspondence in 2017.

Masters of Human Resource Management from Pondicherry University with


63.3% marks through correspondence in June’07.

B.E. (Civil) with 67.6% marks in 1999 from Giani Zail Singh College of Engineering
and Technology, Bathinda (Pb.) (Govt. Institute), affiliated to the Punjab Technical
University, Jalandhar (Pb.).
