With reference to the above, I would like to request a place for the internship position in
your company. My name is Muhammad Alif Sofian Bin Zulkernain and I am a final year
degree student studying in Bachelor of Science (Analytical and Environmental Chemistry) at
Universiti Malaysia Terengganu (UMT). I am interested to secure a place for internship
programme related to my coursework at your company located in Terengganu . This
internship programme is part of the requirements for my graduation. The duration for the
internship programme is 16 weeks, starting from October 2023 until January 2024.

The courses that I have taken such as Structural Identification of Chemical Compounds,
Research Methods in Chemical Sciences, Advanced Environmental Chemistry, Functional
Group Transformation, Oleochemistry, Organic Chemistry, Inorganic Chemistry, Analytical
Chemistry, Forensic, Separation Techniques in Analytical Chemistry and Spectroscopic
Techniques in Analytical Chemistry has given me a strong background in practical skills in
laboratory work.
