ISTE Educator Standards:
2.1 Learner- learn from others to improve, use
technology, network, read educational research.
2.2 Leader- support student empowerment via
technology, use tech for equitable access, be an
example to colleagues by using technology
2.3 Citizen- Inspire, build empathetic
relationships, promote curiosity and literacy,
ethical mentoring w/ technology use, model
data management/privacy
2.4 Collaborator- plan w/ colleagues/integrate
technology, co-learn w/ students about new
digital resources, expand students’ learning
experiences, cultural competence when
interacting
2.5 Designer- learner-driven activities, use
technology to foster/accommodate independent
learning, design activities aligned with standards
via technology, create digital learning
environments
2.6 Facilitator- help students take ownership of
learning goals independently/groupwise,
manage use of technology for learning, express
creativity to communicate
2.7 Analyst- Use data-driven instructions,
provide alternatives for competency via
technology, accommodate different
formative/summative tests via technology to
inform instruction, use data to measure progress
& communicate student self-direction w/
students/parents

1.2 Digital Citizen- understand
aspects/consequences of living in digital world,
engage in safe, ethical behavior when online,
understand using/sharing intellectual property,
understand data security and how data is
tracked/collected online
1.3 Knowledge Constructor- curate tools via
technology, plan research strategies to locate
info/resources, evaluate information found,
1.4 Innovative Designer- Students use a variety
of technologies within a design process to
identify and solve problems by creating new,
useful or imaginative solutions.
1.5 Computational Thinker- Students develop
and employ strategies for understanding and
solving problems in ways that leverage the
power of technological methods to develop and
test solutions.
1.6 Creative Communicator- communicate
clearly and express creatively for a variety of
purposes using the platforms, tools, styles,
formats, and digital media appropriate to their
goals.
1.7 Global Collaborator- use digital tools to
broaden their perspectives and enrich their
learning by collaborating with others and
working effectively in teams locally and globally.
