- We do need IDEAS to change our lives.
2. INSPIRATION-excited about life
- Emotional vitality- they are excited about living, they are excited about working,
they are excited about accomplishing,
- We do need inspiration- something that drives us
- This gives you high energy, zest for living
- This will give you high emotional energy

A.1. we communicate just to get along.
A.2. WE COMMUNICATE TO ACCOMPLISH SOME PURPOSE specific purpose

- to get your ideas across
-Four (4 ) KEYWORDS to be aware of that will help you in putting together a conscious
awareness program of developing a source of communication
1. INTEREST – develop an INTEREST in 2 primary things – life and people
- if you are interested in life, you –see right away daily, weekly, monthly, you will be gathering
information, impressions, and awareness more so than someone who is not that interested
- mental tick list
2. FASCINATION- goes a little bit beyond interest
- Fascination means you‘d take a second look, it means you are not just interested in surface
information- you want to know what’s behind it, what does it really mean?
- You’ve got be fascinated with life, fascinated with stories, fascinated with human behavior,
- why do people act what they act?
3. Sensitivity- develop a sensitivity to life and people
- develop a sensitivity to both the highs and the lows of life
- a sensitivity to people’s feelings
- a sensitivity to the complexity of life as well as the simplicity of life
- a sensitivity to people’s beliefs, the way they look at things
- walk the streets where the lonely walk and talk to them, find out their stories, go eat where they
eat, visit with them for awhile
- 4. KNOWLEDGE- develop a working knowledge of life and people,
- MAKE A DAILY JOURNAL
- record the ideas, impressions and the feelings
