NARRATIVE REPORT IN CONVOCATION OF GRADE 12 – NEWTON, January 27, 2020

A convocation is a large, formal gathering of people to take part in a special purpose. A


convocation may involve an assembly of clergy, academics, or members of another institution.

As early as 7:15 in the morning, the students of Region National High School assembled at the
gymnasium for the flag ceremony rites.

First, the students assigned give instructions on what the other students must do when conducting
a flag raising ceremony, followed by singing of the national anthem conducted by Mrs. Marie Grace C. T,
a prayer from Lovely N – a Grade 12 Newton student, Panatang Makapalay by Ms. Roselyn G, also a
Grade 12 Newton, ILOCOS March singing under the baton of Mrs. Marie Grace T, and a Spoken Poetry
by Karla N about Makakalikasan.

After that, a Zumba headed by the students of 12 Newton is gracefully performed together with
the students of RNHS as well as the faculty and staff.

Mr. Marlon P also spearheaded a simple reminder of what are the Do’s and Don’ts if there is an
earthquake. Simulations are also portrayed for the information of everyone.

To sum up all the activities, the convocation is said to be a successful and informative to
everyone.

The flag ceremony has finished at exactly 7:45 in the morning.
