In the previous module, you have learned about what is research, what are
the characteristics and the importance of research. These are some of the
fundamental parts of research that you need to know for you to have a background
knowledge in the field of research.
This module aims to help you understand the role of research in our daily life
activities, think creatively, analyze, and make decisions to solve societal problems.
After going through this module, you are expected to:
Categorize research in terms of features and relevance.
Specifically, the activities in this module will enable you to:

o Differentiate the types of research.
o Compare and contrast types of research.
