I. Morning Session
The session was commenced with a prayer by Mrs. Estela I. Balawen
followed by the discussion of Mrs. Kathlyn Jane B. Villanueva on the first
topic of the day, Strategies to Improve the Learners Performance (NLC).
After a short break, I discussed my topic on Making Instructional Materials
in Reading.
Mrs. Nora Vicente was asked to share her knowledge and expertise in the
use of CANVA as one of the digital tools used in creating IMs.
Mrs. Kathlyn Villanueva also introduced other tools helpful in obtaining IMs
such as Slideshare Downloader, iLovePDF, and 4KDownloader.
Mrs. Estela I. Balawen discussed the topic, Early Language Literacy and
Numeracy (ELLN).

The PTA initiated the school project “Seguridad ng Paaralan Ating Tingnan”.
This project aimed to secure the school from stealing, vandalism and entering of
astray animals by putting steel fence, improvement of school entrance and exit
and repairing of school gates. The PTA tapped the trainees of TESDA for the free
labor and conducted donation drive for the procurement of materials.
The PTA actively participated in the Brigada Eskwela activities with the
school project “Bigyang Buhay sa Pamamagitan ng Pagkulay” by providing free
labor on the repainting of the outer wall and roofing of school buildings and
window grills .

Paaralan Natin” through improvement of school parks.

on the western and southern portion of Bagong Lipunan building.

The PTA initiated the school project “Aktibong mga Bata, Kapag Classroom
ay Maganda” by putting of tiles in the kinder, Grade I and Grade IV classrooms
that aimed to promote participation and increase the learning potential of learners.

and repair of comfort rooms in the Grade II, Kinder and Grade IX classrooms that
promoted proper hygiene and sanitation for learner’s health, safety and
development.

construction of school signage in front of School Principal’s office.

The PTA actively participated in the Brigada Pagbasa activities with the
school project “Reading Enhancement Activities for Development (READ)” by
The PTA coordinated with the school alumni to conduct reading activities on

The PTA distributed seedlings to indigent families as part of the of the GPP
activity to intensify the Malusog na Bata program of the school.
The PTA tied up with SISA Hongkong for the construction of 2 lavatories
with 3 faucets.
