school.

I would like to talk about a leisure activity I like doing in my free time. I have a passion for:

(a) Playing video games. I have a gaming computer. Mom bought it for me on my last birthday.
I play video games twice a week with my best friend. There are many good games that I
often play such as Final Fantasy, Free Fire, and so on. The benefits of video games are
to help me relax and reduce stress after tired studying hours. Besides that, playing games
can help improve memory and eye-to-hand coordination. For those reasons, I enjoy playing
computer games very much.
(b) Reading books. I read books before I go to bed every day, and I think it is a good habit. I
usually spend almost all of my free time going to book store with my friends. I like fantasy,
romance, and novel books. I read at least one book a week. There are many benefits of
reading books. Reading books helps us sleep better, improve memory, learn more
vocabulary/ and so on. Therefore, I am keen on reading books.
(c) Traveling. I study every weekday, so I often travel at the weekend or on holiday. I like to
go to the beach with my friend by motorbike. We travel once or twice a month. A map, a
torch, a camera, and a compass are necessary for traveling. There are many benefits of
traveling such as improving our health, understanding new cultures, expanding our
knowledge, and so on. Therefore, I am keen on traveling.

I would like to talk about a teacher that had a positive influence on me. Her/his name is “…..”.
She/he was my teacher when I was in grade 8/9/….. She/He taught Maths/ Science/ English… I
would say she/he had a great influence on my education. She/He knows how to teach the students
so that they understand the subject and can connect the lesson with real life. Besides that, she/ he
was a good listener. Students can share with her/him their problems, happiness, and sadness.
Moreover, she/ he is very kind and friendly. She’s willing to help and take care of everyone. That
is the reason why I remember Mr/Ms … in particular.

I am very glad to share with you/ I want to talk about/ I will talk about my hometown. I was
born and grew up in Binh Duong/ Tan Uyen/Da Lat… The most interesting part of my
hometown is

(1) delicious food. Pho/ Hu Tieu Nam Vang….is the famous local food. I often eat Pho/ Hu
Tieu Nam Vang twice a week at the restaurant with my family. Sometimes, my mom
cooks Pho/ Hu Tieu Nam Vang for breakfast.
(2) beautiful sights. There are many places to visit such as Le Van Tam Park, Dai Nam
Park.… and so on.

Besides that, people in my hometown are very friendly and kind. Most of the people in my
hometown are office workers and small business owners. Some people work as doctors,
bankers, teachers, and farmers. In my point/ In my view/ In my opinion, my hometown is a
good place to live. It is a beautiful place with beautiful sights, fresh air, and delicious food. I
think people should visit my hometown at least once

I would like to talk about something I own which is very important to me. It is

it because it makes me feel relaxed. I think people should read Doraemon at least once.
(b) Chicken soup for the soul. It is about life, love, and several more. It will inspire us to be
better. Kids and students really like it. I have read Chicken soup for the soul since I was

music, search for information, and watch movies. However, all information on the internet
isn’t true. Some people share fake news and wrong information, so we shouldn’t believe
everything we see on the internet.
