Examiner’s Script

Setting up
Examiners ask questions to acknowledge student’s attendance and ask the student to sign
in.
Examiners set the time and turn on the recording.

Part 1 (1.5 - 2 minutes)

Turn to pictures 1A and 1B which show places where you can go with your family or
friends when you have some free time.
Compare and contrast these pictures, saying how you feel about visiting places like these.
You have half a minute to prepare for one-minute talk.

Part 2 (3 minutes)
You have agreed to look after two children while their parents go out for 4 hours in the
afternoon. One child is two years old and the other is four. Now you have to plan what
you are going to do with them. You are considering a visit to the aquarium, outdoor
playtime in the park and going to the cinema to watch a new film.

Talk about the three activities and decide which activity is the best for you and the
children.

Part 3 (3 minutes)

You are going to talk about The dark sides of keeping animals in the zoo.
