Important pre-installation information

1. Administrator credentials
OneOcean is installed to system folders and will add new services to Windows Services.
Therefore, Administrator credentials are required when installing OneOcean. It is crucial to the
success of the installation to have these credentials available for the duration of the installation
process.

2. OneOcean data servers

The OneOcean Data server provides the connection endpoint for all data download / delivery,
and for all communications between the ship and OneOcean.
This also includes the synchronisation of outfits/holdings, synchronisation of ship/company
settings, uploading of Passage Plans, and for all product purchasing via the B2B system.

a. HTTP / HTTP download

If OneOcean data will be download by HTTP / HTTPS protocols, ensure the following
Internet addresses are whitelisted on the vessel firewall / router:

b. Email delivery
If OneOcean data will be delivered by email, ensure the following email addresses are
whitelisted with the vessel’s email provider:

• customer.success@oneocean.com
• support@oneocean.com
• oceandata2@oneocean.com
• permits@oneocean.com
• coast@oneocean.com

3. Pre & post installation checks

During the installation process, the OneOcean Installer will first run a Pre-Installation check to
ensure the minimum system requirements are met (as outlined on page 1).
At the end of the installation process, a Post-Installation check will be made to ensure
connection with OneOcean Data Server can be established, databases can be accessed and the
OneOcean services are found and running.
If any of these checks fail, contact our Customer Success Team for further support and guidance.
