AIRPOT

An airpot is a beverage dispenser designed to keep coffee warm in a vacuum insulated


chamber, and dispense coffee without the use of any electricity.

BLENDER
A blender is an electrical kitchen appliance used for mixing liquids and soft foods together or
turning fruit or vegetables into liquid.

COFFE MAKER

A coffee maker is an electric countertop appliance that brews hot coffee automatically. It
consists of a hot plate, a carafe or glass coffee pot, filter basket, and water reservoir. A cup of

MICROWAVE OVEN

Microwaves are produced inside the oven by an electron tube called a magnetron. The
microwaves are reflected within the metal interior of the oven where they are absorbed by
food. Microwaves cause water molecules in food to vibrate, producing heat that cooks
the food.
STOVE

A stove is an appliance used to cook food by providing heat directly. Some stoves are
enclosed and this leads to people confusing them for ovens but not all stoves can cook food as
some only provide heat.

A dustpan is a small flat container made of metal or plastic. You hold it flat on the floor and put
dirt and dust into it using a brush.

DUSTER
A feather duster is a cleaning tool that is typically made from a wooden dowel handle onto
which ostrich feathers are wound with a wire. The feathers are most often 14 to 32 inches (36 to
81 cm) long. Some dusters have a retractable casing instead of a dowel handle and these are
typically used by rack-jobbers and truck drivers who need to clean store shelves, and can retract the
feathers into the handle to avoid damage.

FLAT IRON

A flat iron, also called a straightening iron, has flat ceramic or metal heated plates and is
designed to smooth and straighten hair. To use, place 1" to 2" sections of hair between the
iron's heated plates and press firmly, then run the iron down the hair to the ends.

suction in order to remove dirt from floors, upholstery, draperies, and other surfaces. It is
generally electrically driven. The dirt is collected by either a dustbag or a cyclone for later
disposal.
WASHING MACHINE

It agigates your clothes in a soapy suds and water to remove any dirt and stains before
spinning to drain the water after the cycle.

THERMOMETER

A thermometer is an instrument that measures temperature. It can measure the temperature of


a solid such as food, a liquid such as water, or a gas such as air. The three most common units
of measurement for temperature are Celsius, Fahrenheit, and kelvin. The Celsius scale is part
of the metric system.
