Digitalized waste management system is the strategy an organization uses to sort, collect,
transport and dispose waste correctly. Possible waste disposal methods are recycling,
Unlike other garbage managements systems, theSixb garbage management (Name of the
website) concentrates on sorting of different types of garbage hence easy management and also
awareness, thereby improving the local environment and offering continuous employment to
individuals from socially and economically disadvantaged groups. For the first prototyping we
OBJECTIVES
General Objectives
The main goal of this project is to come up with a platform that will eventually save the
environment
Specific objectives
JUSTIFICATION
Waste management in Kenya faces numerous challenges and the theSixb sets out plans, targets
a growing population and economy, which means increased volumes of waste generated.
This puts pressure on waste management facilities, which are already in short supply
A historical backlog of waste services for, especially, urban informal areas, tribal areas
Limited understanding of the main waste flows and national waste balance because the
submission of waste data is not obligatory, and where data is available, it is often
METHODOLOGY
The system will be an integrated system which will have many operations that will be mainly
used for creating awareness about the dangers of waste and the benefits of waste management
and also we will be liaising with organizations and give them the six containers for them to use

CONCLUSION AND OUTCOMES
After collecting those different types of garbage, we will decide on what to do with these
garbage as below:
Paper wastes – put them in one store to make work easier for the recycling industries to collect
Left-over foods – put them in one store to make its collection easier so that it can be taken to
Plastics - put them in one store to make its collection easier for them to be taken to recycling
Plastic bottles - put them in one store to make its collection easier so that they can be washed
and re-used or recycled by melting them and coming up with new plastic bottles.
General glass - put them in one store to make its collection easier so that they can be washed
and re-used or recycled by melting them and coming up with new glass products.
Metals - put them in one store to make its collection easier so that they can be collected by
With this approach, we could have solved the problem of waste mishandling in organizations, a
problem which afterwards grows and affects our environment. This problems also later on leads
to creation of big garbage dumpsites which are hazardous to our environment and health.
