P5 Respect from the school participated in Thinkfest with two projects- IPW about the rainforest and Bukit Timah Nature Reserve, and ThinkHub about making playtime more meaningful by adding interest groups. While the interest groups project could not be fully implemented due to time constraints, it was well-received by viewers for making playtime more enjoyable for students. Thinkfest celebrates student thinking and provides an opportunity to showcase innovative projects.

of Thinkfest, Teachers, 5 Respect and viewers!
It is finally the Thinkfest event that everyone
have been waiting for it! IPW and ThinkHub projects are showcased in the hall. Many Thanks to Mrs Arun and Ms Selva for the opportunity to take part in Thinkfest. Why do we commence Thinkfest? It is to celebrate the thinking process of students, to develop communication and presentation skills. It also provides opportunities to view innovative projects.Continuing with today’s topic, 5 Respect has won a lot of awards this year and is trying very hard to be the most innovative class for Thinkfest. They put up a very interesting presentation for both ThinkHub and IPW. Thanks to Oliver Kok and Lucas Koh, I have been able to understand the project. As for IPW, most people would know it is about rainforest and Bukit Timah Nature Reserve. As for the ThinkHub (most students would probably love this), they are trying to make Tuesday’s playtime more meaningful by adding interest groups! The entire class and even the teachers contributed to this project. “However due to time constraints, we would not be able to do this project. But if P5 Respect makes changes, we would certainly be able to start making playtime more meaningful.” Oliver said. One of the viewers whom I interviewed, Javen Kwok from 5 CA, said “The project is super interesting. I like the part where they added a lot of interesting things and it would certainly make a lot of students happy.” Soon, it was the end of Thinkfest. I was certain that everyone enjoyed themselves thoroughly. Ultimately, Thinkfest is one of the most enjoyable events. As for the P5s, I hope that this would be the one of the most memorable events you've ever been to! As for the rest, always remember to be innovative thinkers, the future is in your hands!
