Title: Exploring Plant Structure and Types Through Video Creation

Prompt: Create a video exploring the different types of plant structures, tissues, and organs,
and how they function in various plant types and their reproduction. Your video should be at
least 5 minutes long and should cover the following topics:

● An introduction to plant structure, tissues, and organs, and their functions in the
plant's life cycle.
● A detailed explanation of the reproductive structures of at least two different plant
types, such as flowering plants and ferns.
● A discussion of the different types of plant tissues, such as dermal, vascular, and
ground tissue, and their functions in plant growth and development.
● A comparison of the different types of plant organs, such as roots, stems, and leaves,
and how they vary between different plant types.
● An exploration of some of the unique adaptations that plants have evolved to survive
in different environments, such as deserts or rainforests.

Objective: To deepen students' understanding of plant structure and types through the
creation of a video that showcases their knowledge of the subject matter.

Instructions:

1. Choose one type of plant to focus on, such as a flowering plant, a tree, or a succulent.
2. Research the anatomy and structure of your chosen plant type. Use at least three
different sources of information to gather your data.
3. Create a script for your video that addresses the prompt above.
4. Create a storyboard for your video. Your storyboard should include sketches or
descriptions of the visuals and narration for each section of your video.

5. Use a video editing tool of your choice to create your video. Your video should be at
least 3 minutes long and include visual aids such as diagrams, images, or videos to
support your narration.
6. Submit your video and your research sources to your teacher for grading.

Grading Rubric: Your video will be graded based on the following criteria:

● Accuracy of information: Did you accurately represent the anatomy and structure of
your chosen plant type?
● Clarity and coherence of the script: Was your narration clear and well-organized?
● Creativity and visual aids: Did you use creative and engaging visuals to support your
narration?
● Technical quality of the video: Was your video well-edited and free of technical
errors?
● Use of research sources: Did you cite at least three different sources of information
for your research?
● Incorporation of Charlie or Penelope in you video: Active
player in the discussion.
