• Deals with the use of different communication technologies such as mobile phones,
telephones, internet, etc. to locate, save, send and edit information.

to place a content on their own by means of comments, reviews, and evaluation.

Social Network
these are sites that allow people with similar interests to come together and share
information, photos, and videos.
Microblogging
These are sites that focus on short updates from the user. Those subscribed to the
user will be able to receive these updates.
Bookmarking Sites
these are sites that allow you to store and manage links to various websites and
resources.
Social News
These are sites that allow the users to post their own news items or links from other
news sources.
Media Sharing
These are sites that allow you to upload and share media content like images, music,
and videos.
These websites allow the users to post their content. Other users are able to comment
on the said topic.

ANDROID - An open source OS developed by Google. Being open source means mobile phone
companies use this OS for free.
WINDOWS PHONE OS - A close source and proprietary operating system developed by
Microsoft.
WEBOS - As Open WebOS or LG WebOS, is a multitasking operating system for smart devices
such as Smart TVs and it has been used as a mobile operating system.
ASSISTIVE MEDIA
Is a non-profit service designed to help people who have visual and reading
impairments. A database of audio recordings is used to read to the user.
