● In recent years, China's infrastructure industry


has developed rapidly in Africa, involving
fields like highways, ports, and airports.

• 25 Chinese-funded parks
• 620 enterprises
• $7.35 billion investment
• 42,000 local staff
• $1.48 billion in various taxes and fees

factories for localized production. This is important for reducing poverty,

concerns related to its Chinese parent company,
ByteDance.
⚫ "The Chinese Communist Party using TikTok to spy
on Americans, violate their privacy, and collect their
personal, private, and sensitive information is well-
documented," He said in a press release announcing
the ban.
⚫ TikTok seems to face an uncertain future especially
in the U.S. and the European Union. Politics
sometimes play a crucial role.
