VACCINATION

Our records show that you have still not had your first Covid
vaccine.

If you have recently booked or had your Covid vaccination, apologies and please ignore this letter.
However, if you have not yet arranged your vaccine, please contact 119 as soon as possible.

 Your underlying medical condition puts you at increased risk of severe disease, admission to
hospital and death if you acquire get Covid.
 Most people with medical conditions that put them at higher risk have already had their vaccine.
 The Delta variant of concern (VOC) is now the most common strain of Covid in the Midlands. This strain
is much easier to catch and is spreading in the Midlands
 Most people being admitted to hospital with this strain have not been fully vaccinated
 The vaccine has undergone rigorous testing and is safe and effective
 The vaccine can take a few weeks to work, so getting it as early as possible is important
 Every precaution is taken to make sure you are safe while visiting your GP practice
 Vaccination is our best way out of lockdown – so we can start to enjoy a much greater sense of
normality

We strongly recommend that you book your Covid vaccination as soon as possible.
