Student A: You are the Sales manager at Honda Company. You have made an
appointment with the Purchasing manager (Student B) on Monday afternoon at
14:00 to discuss a new motor sale. Unluckily, you have to be on business on that
day. Call the Purchasing manager to change the arrangement with him/her.
Student B: You are the Purchasing manager at Honda Company. You have an
appointment with the Sales manager (Student A) on Monday afternoon at 14:00 to
discuss a new motor sale. Unluckily, he/she has to be on business on that day.
Receive a phone call from the Sales manager and reply him/her.

A: Hello, Yen speaking. I’m Sales manager. Can I meet Ms. Mai -
Purchasing manager to change the arrangement.
B: Hello. I’m Mai. You want to change our appointment on Monday
afternoon at 14:00, right?
A: I’m very sorry. I have to cancel that appointment because of an
unexpected business trip to Singapore.
B: When would be convenient for you?
A: uhm… Is Tuesday morning possible for you?
B: No. I have got another appointment on that day. How about next
Saturday?
A: Great. So the same time and the same place? 2pm, at the Garden
coffee?
B: Yes. That’s great.
A: It’s vey nice to see you again. Bye
B: Bye. See you soon.
