I'm thinking of signing up for a course. I have some free time these days and would like to try
something different. What courses are available?

We have a few available at the moment. Is there any particular day that suits you best?

Any day is good, except for Thursday.

Okay, we have lots of courses on the other days. For example, we have our skating class on Tuesday.

It's also interesting. I've never skated before. Are there any courses for novices?

Sure. Actually, this course mainly includes basic skills and our professional coaches will teach you.

That's great. Why does it begin?

It used to begin at 8pm, but since it's very popular, now it starts at 7.45pm and goes until quite late in
the evening. It is a lot of fun.

Those times work perfectly for me. How much does it cost then?

It's $650.

Oh, I see. That's going to be quite expensive for me. I mean, I'm going to have to buy the equipment
too.

You don't need to buy any equipment. The skates are included in the price.

Oh, okay. Maybe that's not so bad then.

But you will need to wear warm clothes since it can be very cold late at night. It would be good to have
something to keep you warm.

Well, we also have a first aid course starting next week.

It's a course that's designed to help old family members in case something emergent happens.

I see. I suppose it would be very useful. My parents are getting older, and I would like to know what to
do if there was an emergency. Where will they begin?

It starts on Wednesday at 7pm.

Good. How much will it cost?

Unfortunately, the cost of the first aid course has just gone up. It used to be only $120 for four classes.
Now it is $140.

I think that is quite reasonable. Will I need to bring anything to the classes? Like a notebook?
 Yes, you will need to take some notes on it.

Okay, got it. Are there any cooking courses available? I've always wanted to be a chef.

You're in luck. There is one space left available in our cooking course. It's very popular, and at the end
you will get a certificate in cookery, which can help you find a job. The classes start at 5pm every
Sunday.

That is exactly what I would like to do. How much does it cost?

It's $100 for five classes in total. As for the ingredients, the teacher will provide, but you will have to
pay for them, I'm afraid, and that's $56.

That sounds reasonable to me. I would like to sign up for the cooking course, please. What should I
bring with me?

Most things are provided. We will provide most of the cooking utensils and tools, but you will need to
bring your own apron. We don't supply them here.

The course will cost $50 for a group lesson or $150 if she wants a private lesson.

equipment?

She needs to bring her own towel as well as a mat designed for yoga. You can find them at any fitness
store.

Okay. Are there any other courses for females if she is not interested in yoga?
 She could consider our makeup training course at our Logan campus.

Actually, this will be quite helpful. She's looking for a job as a makeup artist, and I think it will be helpful
at a job interview to say she has done some training recently.

Yes, and the price is reasonable too. How much will it cost? It comes to $200 and goes for two months.

That sounds great. If she is interested, what does she need to bring? Some makeup tools?

Actually, she just needs to bring her own brushes and a small mirror.
