A. Preliminary Activities
1. Prayer
The teacher will ask one of his/her students to stand up and lead the prayer.
2. Greetings
The teacher will ask his/her students to settle down and greet them a good
morning. The teacher will then introduce his/her name to the class.
3. Checking of Attendance
The teacher will call each name of his/her students in an alphabetical order
and ask them to say present if they hear their name being called.
4. Ice Breaker
The teacher will play a music and ask the students to dance.
5. Classroom Rules
Before the teacher starts the discussion, he/she will give classroom rules
that must be followed by the students inside the classroom.

2. Introduction
As the teacher note of the words listed by the students, she will direct
them to read the words flashed on the screen. As soon as the class finished
reading, the teacher will provide start-up question. The students need to
respond on the following:
After answering, the teacher will ask the class if they have any idea on
what classification of pronoun the examples flashed on the screen belong.
3. Lesson Proper
a. Discussion
The teacher will officially introduce the lesson by presenting a power point
presentation containing the lesson to the class. The teacher will discuss
about the reflexive and intensive pronouns.
b. Engagement Activity
Based from the discussion earlier, the teacher will divide the class into
three groups. Grouping will be done through counting from one to three.
All numbers 1 will be group 1 and so on.
The first group will work on definition and examples of reflexive pronouns;
the next group will have the definition and examples of intensive
pronouns and the third group will make a Venn diagram of the differences
of reflexive and intensive pronouns.
