Provisional Offer letters


• The admission offers of selected candidates will be provisional in nature and the candidate should meet the eligibility criteria defined by Shiv
Nadar University, Delhi-NCR once the Class XII results are declared.

■ We have introduced remote proctoring of our tests (SNUSAT & APT), thus, allowing you to take SNUSAT and APT in the safety of your home.
The AI-based test will be monitored by a proctor from our testing partner Pearson VUE. The details and process of taking the test will be
communicated to the candidates through email.
■ You can also give the test at the Pearson Center
■ Personal Interviews of the shortlisted candidates will be conducted using online meeting tools only.
SNUSAT & APT 2022
SNUSAT and APT is a combined three hour test which can be delivered through either of the two modes.

Mode 1 : Pearson Vue Centres - Administered in more than 100 Pearson VUE test centers across India helping every aspirant to participate in
the process.
Mode 2: Remotely Proctored SNUSAT and APT 2022 - Remotely proctored test that will be administered in the comfort and safety of the
candidate’s house.
SNUSAT – Measure of proficiency in the language, ability to apply mind to simple problems, data interpretation, logical and abstract reasoning.
APT – Subject knowledge required for specific programs.

**Any one of the optional APT
• If the same APT serves all the Programs that you have selected, no additional APT is required. For instance, all Engineering Programs require “Physics+ Maths”. This combination also
makes you eligible for B.Sc. (R) in Physics and B.Sc. (R) in Mathematics.
• If any of your Program preferences are mapped to a different APT, you are required to take the additional 30 min APT(s). However, there is no need to repeat SNUSAT. For
instance, when Program preference 1 is B.Tech. in Mechanical Engineering and Program preference 2 is B.Sc. (Research) in Biotechnology, you first need to appear for SNUSAT +
APTs “Physics+ Maths”. For B.Sc.(Research) in Biotechnology, you will have to give an additional APT of “Biology”.
• All the questions except the SNUSAT Essay and Critical Writing in APT will be Multiple Choice Type. There is no negative marking. SNUSAT Essay and Critical writing sections will
have to be typed on the computer, within the stipulated time.

FINANCIAL AID AND SCHOLARSHIPS


Shiv Nadar University, Delhi–NCR strongly believes in nurturing and encouraging the brightest minds to transform their lives and become
lifelong learners and leaders. The University is committed to help deserving students and do not want finance to be a hurdle in the
educational journey of exceptional students. The University offers Financial Aid and Scholarships to students who are selected through the
specified admission criteria(s) in undergraduate programs, covering part or full academic and living expenses. The amount of Financial Aid
and Scholarship depends upon the total number of applications and the decision of the committee will be final and binding. The details of
Financial Aid and Scholarships are given below:

FINANCIAL AID:
To apply for a financial aid from Shiv Nadar University, Delhi-NCR, interested candidates can file the application in the application form. Once a candidate is selected through the
specified admission criteria(s), he/she will be provided a detailed form to fill-in additional details. Based on the needs of each individual, the financial aid committee of Shiv Nadar
University, Delhi–NCR, will make a decision pertaining to the financial aid and inform the respective candidate. The amount of Financial Aid will depend upon the total number of
applications and the decision of the committee will be final and binding.

SCHOLARSHIPS:

01. Gifted Student Scholarship:


The University attracts outstanding academic rank holders to study under Gifted Student Scholarship. Students with the following ranks are eligible:- Top 100 rank holders in
class 12th from CBSE, ICSE, and Cambridge Board of Education | IB grade points 42 & above | Top 100 rank holders in class 12th from other State Education Board | INSPIRE fellows
awarded Scholarship for Higher Education (SHE) | JEE (Advanced) top 500 ranks | Kishore Vaigyanik Protsahan Yojana (KVPY) Fellowship holders Only for School of Natural
Sciences programs | Students admitted under Gifted Scholarship will be eligible for direct admission based on an interaction with faculty member and approval from the
admitting department

02. Rural Scholarship:


The University extends its support to help students from weaker economic background to study in the undergraduate programs with full scholarship for academic & living ex-
penses. Students have to qualify through the regular selection process.

03. Sports Scholarship:


Students with ranking in their sport from 1 to 100 ranks are eligible to apply. Due weightage shall be given to the Certificates of Winners/Participation at International, National,
State level tournaments in respective sports/games recognized by National/International sports bodies of respective sports/games.

Shiv Nadar University offers both AC and Non-AC accommodation to the students, 33% of total occupancy in both boys’ and girls’ hostels are air
conditioned, which will be allotted on first come first served basis (Extra charges of `6500 will be levied per year along with electricity charges on
actual consumption in case of AC room)

General Information
In the interest of maintaining high Academic Standards, Shiv Nadar University, Delhi-NCR takes this criteria very seriously and students are advised to
concentrate on studies right from the time they join the University

Course taken over and above the required credits will be charged for separately @ ₹ 6,000 per credit. A maximum of 7 credits can be taken during the Sum-
mer Semester. The hostel, tuition, mess and laundry fees for Summer Semesters (if required) will be payable over and above the fees given here. Summer
charges are as follows :
Hostel - ₹ 17,000 | Mess - ₹ 4,813 (Per Month) | Laundry - ₹ 400 (Per Month)

In the interest of creating an egalitarian institution, the hostel configuration is pre-decided for all undergraduate programs

A hostel room may be upgraded or downgraded by the University based on rooms availability.
