Cross Contamination
Is the physical movement or transfer of harmful bacteria from
one person, object to another place. Preventing cross-
contamination is a key factor in preventing foodborne illness.

Foodborne disease
Foodborne illness is caused by consuming contaminated foods
or beverages. Many different disease-causing microbes or
pathogens can contaminate foods, so there are many different
types of foodborne illnesses.Most foodborne diseases are
infections caused by a variety of bacteria, viruses,and parasites.

Food contamination
Refers to the presence of harmful chemicals and
microorganisms in food, which can cause consumer illness.
Food intoxication
Is caused by ingesting food containing toxins formed by
bacteria which resulted from the bacterial growth in the food
item. occurs from eating a food that contains a toxin produced
by bacteria. An example of food intoxication is Clostridium
botulinum poisoning.

Food poisoning
Illness is caused by bacteria or other toxins in food, typically
with vomiting and diarrhea.
Food safety
Is used as a scientific method/discipline describing handling,
preparation, and storage of food in ways that prevent food
borne illness. The occurrence of two or more cases of a similar
illness resulting from the ingestion of a common food is known
as a food borne disease outbreak.

Food spoilage
Food spoilage is the process where a food product becomes
unsuitable to ingest by the consumer. The cause of such a
process is due to many outside factors as a side-effect of the
type of product it is, as well as how the product is packaged and
stored.
Food storage
Is the way of decreasing the variability of the food supply in the
face of natural, inevitable variability. It allows food to be eaten
for some time after harvest rather than solely immediately.

Kitchen hygiene
Is a way of ensuring cleanliness and safety in the kitchen. It
means practices in the kitchen that brings good health.
Personal hygiene
Are the behavior that must be practiced in daily lie, starting
from morning to sleep time to protect our health . to protect
health, bod, hair, mouth and teeth must be cleaned regularly
and clothes must be washed frequently . personal hygiene is
intimately involved with health.
