skill or ability in an activity
• It is highly flexible and includes wide range
of activities.
• Examples: Fitness program, free courses on
different platforms etc.
TEACHING TECHNIQUES
• Lecture Method
• Command Method
• Demonstration Method
• Imitation Method
• Project method
LECTURE METHOD
• The teacher speaks and the students
listen.
• Teacher can quickly deliver a lot of
information using this way in a short
span of time as it is one-way flow of
information.
• Also known as transmissive method
• Benefits: Saves time, scalability,

systematic manner.
• It occurs when students have a difficult time
connecting theories to actual practice or when
students are unable to understand the
application of theories.
• Benefits: Develop interest, active participation,
engaged students and active
IMITATION METHOD
• Focuses on breaking apart skills into
components, proving the learner with a model
of the target behaviour, and rewarding the
learner for demonstrating the response
immediately after the model.
• Commonly practice in sports when the team
captains lead the warm-ups or stretching.
PROJECT METHOD
• A medium of instruction in which the students are
given a number of projects or situations out of
