Dear Texas Agriculture Irrigation Association Scholarship Committee,

My name is Hannah Kelly, and I am the Associate Director of Theatre at L.D. Bell High School. I am
fortunate enough to have taught Karly Cleveland in Advanced Theatre and our select Theatre Production
class during the 2023-2024 school year. In my time as her teacher and director, I have seen her
overcome many personal and academic challenges that have helped her grow into the person she is
today, and I proudly recommend her for this scholarship.

In Theatre class, Karly not only excelled in her academic work, but also helped organize, plan, and
execute department events. During the Bell Theatre Mini-Camp in December 2023, she served as a
Student Leader for our K-2 age group and encouraged young students as they prepared for their acting &
dancing showcase. Additionally, Karly has served as a Board Member for L.D. Bell Theatre and has made
significant contributions to our annual events such as International Thespian Society meetings and
inductions.

Outside of the classroom, Karly has dedicated countless hours to the success of UIL One Act Play. In her
sophomore year, our company advanced to the Area level of the state competition, and assisted the
directorial team with planning and organization as we traveled to each location across the state of Texas.
In her senior year, Karly stepped into an acting role for the first time and has been highly successful. Her
ability to commit to something new and difficult without hesitation has proven that Karly is a true leader
who is capable of leading by example.

Though Karly has dedicated herself to theatre for the last three years, her interest in pursing a career in
agribusiness is her real passion. Our school and district are suburban, located in the midcities region of
DFW, and there has never been a Future Farmers of America chapter at our school. Despite this, Karly
has worked hard to try to establish a chapter. Though she has not yet been able to establish a chapter,
her dedication to this cause and her ability to persuade others to join this new organization proves her
ability as a student leader.

In conclusion, Karly Cleveland is a well-rounded student who has overcome many challenges in school
and her personal life. She remains dedicated to her education and has accepted an offer from Tarleton
State University in order to pursue a career in Agribusiness. I wholeheartedly recommend her for this
scholarship opportunity.

Sincerely,

Ms. Hannah Kelly

Dear Members of the Texas Agriculture Irrigation Association Scholarship Committee,

I am pleased to offer my recommendation for Karly Cleveland as a candidate for the Texas Agriculture
Irrigation Association Scholarship. In my role as Associate Director of Theatre at L.D. Bell High School, I
have had the privilege of witnessing Karly's exceptional growth and dedication firsthand.

Throughout the 2023-2024 academic year, Karly has consistently demonstrated outstanding leadership,
commitment, and passion in both academic and extracurricular pursuits. In our Advanced Theatre and
select Theatre Production classes, she not only excels academically but also plays an integral role in
organizing and executing department events. Notably, Karly's role as a Student Leader during the Bell
Theatre Mini-Camp showcased her ability to inspire and support younger students, reflecting her
leadership qualities and dedication to fostering a positive learning environment.

Moreover, Karly's contributions to our theatre program extend beyond the classroom. Her involvement as
both an actor and technician in UIL One Act Play eeach school year exemplifies her dedication and
versatility. From assisting with planning and organization during our company's advancement to the Area
level of the state competition to her outstanding performance in an acting role this year, Karly consistently
exhibits a willingness to embrace challenges and excel.

In addition to her achievements in theatre, Karly is deeply passionate about agribusiness and careers in
agriculture. Despite the absence of a Future Farmers of America chapter at our school, Karly has tirelessly
worked towards establishing one, demonstrating her leadership, initiative, and persuasive abilities. Her
commitment to this endeavor speaks volumes about her determination and dedication to her chosen
field.

Given Karly's academic achievements, leadership qualities, and unwavering dedication to agribusiness, I
am confident that she is deserving of the Texas Agriculture Irrigation Association Scholarship. Her
acceptance to Tarleton State University to pursue a career in Agribusiness is a testament to her
commitment to this field, and I have no doubt that she will continue to excel and make significant
contributions in the future.

Thank you for considering Karly Cleveland for this scholarship opportunity. Should you require any further
information, please do not hesitate to contact me.

Sincerely,

Hannah Kelly

Reference for Jessica Muir

I have known Jessica from 2017-2021 in my capacity as senior lecturer in the School of Government and
Public Policy at the University of Strathclyde.

Jessica attended classes which I taught from first year up until her final year, which ended in June. She
studied a range of modules which I taught, including Contemporary British Governance, International
Relations & Global Politics, Quantitative Methods in Social Research, and Governance & Development.
Jessica earned 65%, 64%, 65% and 67% respectively in these modules - 2.1 class grades. Her attendance
was excellent and she was always an active participant in each seminar, often leading discussions and
formulating interesting opinions and theories. When Jessica was asked to lead a seminar as part of her
assessment, she had a confident manner and clear speaking voice and was able to disseminate difficult
concepts in a way that ensured audience members could grasp them.

In my opinion, Jessica has an array of strengths to offer an employer. She demonstrated excellent
organisational skills, always handing in her well-written work on time or early. Her ability to lead
successfully was shown each time she volunteered to be team leader of a research group and she was
able to solve any problems encountered quickly and effectively while listening to others. She is a friendly
individual who is bright, motivated and always willing to learn and develop.

In conclusion, I would highly recommend Jessica for the position of Marketing Manager. If her
performance at Strathclyde is an indication of how she would perform in the job, I believe she will be a
very positive addition to Benoit Marketing.
