3. What are your average likes per post or video? (We suggest calculating this over a 14

4. What are your average engagements per post? Engagements can include comments,
saves, shares etc. (We suggest calculating this over a 14 or 30 day average by adding up all
engagements per post within the timeframe and dividing that # by the total # of posts).
_________
6. What product/service are you going to use in your test promotion? What is the
brand/company's name and website URL? What is the URL of the specific product or
service? (Make sure the product/service you are going to promote is still available for
purchase online.)

7. How many posts are you going to do for the test promotion and when do you plan to
post them? Jot down the day and time. We suggest at least 2-3 posts at different times to
see which post performs best.
8. How are you going to track click-throughs? What is the unique link you are going to
use in your social media account bio or to promote on your posts? If you are working
with a brand/company and they provide you with a unique link, make sure you ask them
to track the sales and click-throughs you generate through your promotional efforts.
PHASE 2: EXECUTION
We suggest tracking the test promotion for a minimum period of one week. You should
keep track of all likes, engagements and click-throughs daily so you will be able to evaluate
how your followers and fans respond and engage with your promotions. This data will be
valuable during the evaluation phase to really understand your social influence.
9. Make sure you track the data (likes, comments, clicks-throughs) of your test

(For example, were your followers enthusiastic about what you were promoting, did they
send you messages, did any specific followers' enthusiasm/support stand out to you?)
PHASE 3: EVALUATION
11. What were the average likes for the test promotion? Add up the amount of likes from
each promotional post and divide it by the number of posts. Is the amount more or less
than the average likes per post you determined in Question 3? Are any of these likes from
people that are obligated to like your content?
12. What were the average engagements for the test promotion? Add up the amount of
engagements from each promotional post and divide it by the number of posts. Is the
amount more or less than the average comments per post you determined in Question 4?
Are any of the engagements from people that are obligated to engage with your posts?

worked with in the past?)
16. Do you consider the test promotion successful? If no, what are some potential issues
that could have affected the performance of the test promotion? (For example, was the
product/service too expensive, was it something your followers wouldn't use or buy,
were the times/days you posted not ideal for your audience or community?)
17. Jot down some notes and observations about the test promotion while they are still
fresh in your mind. What are some internal things you can improve on for future
promotions? (For example, image or video quality, captions, time of day for posting, etc.)

promote products or services on your social accounts? If not, what are some things you
