Thinking Positive Outcomes

There are times we made mistakes when our minds are too much clouded with a

lot of negative things. Imagine a person who wants to lose weight. Her first day doing the

exercise made her body aches. Thinking that she had to endure it for long and it’s hard to

see the difference made her decide to just stop and give up. The woman shows us the

thinking error of giving up. She gave up because she thinks too much, and she isn’t ready

to make a difference. Like her, I’m also struggling with giving up and I can overcome this

by thinking positive outcomes after continuing what I’ve started.

My own experience has taught me that thinking positive outcomes after

continuing what I’ve started will help me overcome it instead of thinking too much. Since I

have a thinking error of giving up, I decided to list the advantages and benefits I could get

after doing the things I want to do. Doing so helped me recognize more of the efforts that I

put through to make myself better each day and I got more motivated. Imagining myself in

the future after trying to continue what I’ve started gives me more courage to never give

up. And as days passed by, I could see a difference between having a negative thinking and

having a positive thinking. I’m much more convinced that I can make a difference if I start

making things more uncomplicated by being optimistic. I am confident that thinking a

positive outcome in every situation instead of having a negative thought will help me

overcome my thinking error of giving up.

Giving up doesn’t mean you’re far from experiencing failures and

disappointments rather the moment you gave up you stopped yourself from experiencing

success. If I think of positive outcomes after continuing what I’ve started, I will be able to

make a difference and overcome my thinking error.
