Hedy Lamarr
1914-2000
Born in Austria, Hedy Lamarr became a Hollywood
actress.
She met Howard Hughes and he took her to his
airplanes factory, then she designed an improved
design for a plane, and from there her mind kept on
inventing.
Her discoverments founded the bases of nowadays
technology as Wi-Fi, GPS and Bluetooth
Joan Beauchamp Procter
1897-1931
At an early age she became interested with reptiles
and had snakes and lizards, even a crocodile as pets.
She was hired as an assistant at the British museum
as keeper of reptiels and fishes , and did taxonomic
work, and became curator of reptiles at the zoo in
1923, and she also discovered a new species of
reptile that same year.
