    ISJB-Indian standard junior beams

    ISLB-Indian standard light weight beams

    ISMB- Indian standard medium weight beams

    ISWB- Indian standard wide flange beams

    ISHB- Indian standard heavy weight beams

    Beams will be designed by type:-

    WEB SIZE X FLANGE SIZE (EG. ISMB-600X210)

     Parallel flange beams (IS):- Indian standard

    NPS-Narrow parallel flange beams.

    WPB-Wide parallel flange beams

    UB-Universal beams

    UC-Universal columns

    Parallel flange beams will be designed by type:-

    WEB SIZE X FLANGE SIZE X UNIT WEIGHT (EG. UB-610 X229 X 125)

    2. ANGLES:-
    ISA-Indian standard equal angle

    ISUA-Indian standard un equal angle

    Angles will be designed by type:-

    FACE 1 SIZE X FACE 2 SIZE X THICK (EG. ISA 100 X 100 X 6)

    3. CHANNELS:-
    ISJC-Indian standard junior channel
    ISLC- Indian standard light weight channel

    ISMC- Indian standard medium weight channel

    Channels will be designed by type:-

    WEB SIZE X FLANGE SIZE (EG. ISMC-100X50)

    4. RAILS:-
    ISCR-Indian standard crane rail

    ISHR- Indian standard heavy rail

    Rails will be designed by type:-

    HEAD SIZE (EG. ISCR-100)

    5. PLATES:-
    Plates will be designed by thickness

    6. FLATS:-
    Flats will be designed by type:- WIDTH X THICKNESS (EG. FLAT 100 X 6)

    7. ROUND BAR:-
    ISRO-Indian standard round.

    Round bars will be designed by Diameter. (EG. ISRO 50).
