III. COURSE DESCRIPTION


This course studies the various forms of reasoning—the deductive and the
inductive. It also allows the students to develop critical thinking by understanding
and applying the basic rules, laws and principles of correct reasoning. Moreover,
it gives students the ability to produce and identity good arguments. This will
follow the process of simple apprehension, judgment and reasoning. Concepts and
Terms are discussed under simple apprehension, proposition under judgment and
syllogism under reasoning. The subject also includes the study of fallacies.

IX. POLICIES AND GUIDELINES


Online Synchronous and Asynchronous:
1. Students must be in school uniform
2. Students should always be visible during online classes.
3. Students are not allowed to screen capture or video record while zoom classes are
on-going unless with prior permission.
4. Only the officially student enrolled shall enter the online classes.
5. Chatting on the chat box is allowed for as long as it is related to the topic being
discussed
6. If a student entered the live online classes, he/she is expected to:
• be respectful.
• reduce destructions while online classes are on-going.
7. Student acts that are identified to be libelous to both co-student or professor will
fall under cybercrime offense called cyber libel.
8. Any form of bullying in the conduct of online classes is strictly prohibited.
9. Any form is cheating has corresponding sanction.

CHED Policy on Student’s Absences Section 101. Student Absences. A student who incurs
absences of more than twenty (20%) of the prescribed number of class or laboratory periods
during the school year or term shall fail and earn no credit for the course or subject.
